| You may need Adobe Acrobat Reader for some of the training. If you do not have that software, you can download it for free from http://www.adobe.com/reader. You may also need Microsoft Word, version 2003 or above. You can purchase this from Microsoft. As an employee of an agency that provides waiver services, you are required to meet certain training requirements. To receive credit for Required Training, you MUST show proof of training with a certificate. To receive credit for Annual Service-Specific/Certified Training, you MUST provide proof of training with a certificate and syllabus/agenda. You must provide this proof to your employer. Some training is required BEFORE you start work, some is required within a CERTAIN TIME-FRAME during your probation period (usually 30-90 days) or IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR CERTIFICATE, and some Service-Specific Training is required ANNUALLY. If you are hired, you are responsible for ensuring you have completed your Hire Training requirements and Annual/Certified Training requirements. Check the Handbook for the most current requirements. You must ensure your Annual Training is actually training (example: a presentation, a conference, how to do something). You may NOT just read articles for your training. You may NOT use the same training more than one time. |
